‘Factory chicken’ film steals the show
FOUR inquisitive and resourceful young lads from Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak, Negri Sembilan grabbed the top spot at Panasonic’s Kid Witness News National Contest recently.
The four boys – Anas Ab Aziz, Zubair Ab Aziz, Izet Aqim Zamri and Abdurrazzaq Hazrin Fazail – made a mini documentary on the dismal short life of a factory chicken.
“Filming the whole thing was quite an extraordinary experience. We never expected to get the chance to actually go into a commercial chicken coop,” said Izet Aqim.
“We tried talking to the owner to let us take a peek, but were unsuccessful. Luckily one of his workers allowed us to go in and film,” he added.
